SHPE is the largest association of Hispanics in STEM in the country. Our University of Utah chapter is where that turns into something you can walk into on a Tuesday night.
Academics
Study nights before exams, notes and old coursework passed down between years, and upperclassmen who have already taken the class you are struggling with.
Careers
Résumé reviews, mock interviews, and recruiter nights with the companies that hire out of the College of Engineering.
Convention
We send members to the SHPE National Convention and regional leadership conferences — the career fair where a lot of our internships start.
Comunidad
Socials, outreach with local schools, and a chapter where being the only Hispanic engineer in your lecture hall stops being the whole experience.
